Santa Fe's Premier Genre-Based Gallery and Museum

Celebrating the Art of Narrative Illustrated Genres as we strive to hang Imagination on our walls.

Santa Fe has long been celebrated for its rich artistic heritage and creative spirit. Building on that tradition, our goal is to establish a permanent science fiction and fantasy–based gallery, a space that showcases the imaginative power of these genres and the people who work within them.

Each exhibition cycle will be organized around one of four central themes — Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, and Special Collections — as well as hoping to expand those themes mainly around imaginative figure or narrative physical art.

At its core, the gallery will present a rotating exhibition of George RR Martin and his wife Parris’s remarkable private collection, including fine art, illustration, and their renowned Toy Knight collection (The Museum). We also hope to bring genre art from other collections here to Santa Fe for our community to enjoy and be inspired by. Alongside these works, each exhibition seasonal cycle will feature additional artists: some established, working speculative artist (The Big Gallery) and some local artist from the Four Corners region who would like to be a part of speculative fiction and genre-based art (The Lil’ Gallery).
